What's included in this Audi B8.5 under supercharger kit?
The complete billet aluminum thermostat housing and thermostat, aluminum heater pipe, Graf metal water pump, OEM Hengst PCV valve, Elring upper and lower intake manifold gaskets, the PCV-to-supercharger adapter pipe, an Elring injector seal kit, and the small breather hose and clamp hardware. Full part numbers are listed above.

Does the kit include just the billet thermostat housing, or the thermostat too?
Both. You get the complete billet aluminum thermostat housing and the thermostat as one assembly, so there is no separate thermostat to buy.

Does this fit my B8.5 Q5, SQ5, or C7 A6/A7?
It fits the B8.5 Q5 3.0T and SQ5, along with the B8.5 S4 and S5, the 2013-2014 A8 3.0T, the 2015 Q7 and the VW Touareg, all on the Gen 1 EA837 3.0T supercharged engine with PCV valve 06E103547AH. The 2012-2015 C7 A6 and A7 are cataloged for a different valve, 06E103547AK, so they need our C7 A6 & A7 kit. Not sure? Email us your VIN and we'll confirm.

How is this different from the standalone B8 kit?
The B8 kit is scoped to the earlier 2010-2012 S4/S5/A6/Q7 applications with slightly different part numbers for the water pump and PCV valve. This B8.5 kit covers the 2013-and-newer Gen 1 cars that use PCV valve 06E103547AH: B8.5, D4, and 4L platforms, plus the VW Touareg. The C7 A6 and A7 have their own kit with the 06E103547AK valve.

Do I need to replace every part in the kit, or just the one that failed?
Once the supercharger is off the car, the labor to remove and reinstall it is the expensive part, not the parts themselves. Replacing the whole valley now means you won't be paying for that labor twice.

Are these OEM parts or aftermarket?
Both. This kit mixes genuine OEM hardware with trusted OE-supplier brands (Graf, Hengst, Elring) and a Vorsprung-engineered billet aluminum thermostat housing in place of the factory plastic piece that tends to crack. From time to time we may need to substitute gaskets for another OE equivalent due to supplier shortages, but we will never substitute hard parts.

Should I also replace the PCV-to-intake pipe while I'm in here?
Yes, most owners do. This kit already covers the PCV valve and the PCV-to-supercharger adapter pipe, but the separate pipe running from the PCV valve to the intake (Audi part 06E103207AC on most applications, or 06E103207P on early-production 2013 S4/S5) is a common companion failure point and an easy add while the supercharger's already off. A full under-supercharger kit with this much parts content should, on paper, cost more than it does. The reason it doesn't isn't that we cut something out, it's that we didn't mark up every single line item 50-100% the way a lot of bundled kits do. Ten parts at a 75% markup each adds up fast, and none of that extra margin makes the water pump spin any better.

We priced this kit off what the components actually cost to source and assemble, not off what the market would tolerate charging for convenience. Every OEM and OE-supplier part in this kit is the exact same part number you'd get anywhere else; we just didn't stack a markup on top of a markup ten times over.
